Ties to Taliban Result in Afghan Arrests

For the second time in less than a week, an Afghan official was arrested for allegedly providing the Taliban with inside information. The official was taken into custody last Thursday in the Badghis district of Bala Murghab.

Earlier in the week, NATO troops detained a senior police officer in central Afghanistan. The officer was also suspected of aiding the Taliban.
