Bloomberg Reports U.S. “Secretly Negotiating” With Taliban
The U.S. is in talks with the Taliban to produce a “more fruitful result than recent contacts” between Taliban and the Afghan governments. This puts an interesting new spin on the U.S.’s Afghanistan strategy. With the Taliban being a fractured and separatist acting group – is this new strategy, of negotiating with terrorists, really a well thought-out idea?
