Submissions
The American University National Security Law Brief endeavors to be a forum for views on developments pertaining to national security law and policy.
The National Security Law Brief welcomes the submission of original articles, comments, book reviews, and case studies. Manuscripts should be double-spaced and in Times New Roman font. We require footnotes (rather than endnotes) and conformity to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th Edition) published by The Harvard Law Review Association.
Submit manuscripts to us electronically (preferred) or by mail.
Article Submissions Guidelines
Please submit manuscripts to the National Security Law Brief electronically (preferred) or by regular mail. Manscripts should be accompanied by a CV and a cover letter. The NSLB uses two electronic submission services, ExpressO (http://law.bepress.com/expresso/) and LexOpus (https://lawlib.wlu.edu/lexopus/index.aspx), and also accepts direct submissions at submissions@nationalsecuritylawbrief.com. The NSLB encourages exclusive submissions and will give review priority to authors who are not simultaneously submitting the work for publication in other journals.
