ABA's 21st Annual Review of the Field of National Security

The American Bar Association, Standing Committee on the National Security & the Law will hold the 21st annual review of the field of National Security on December 1st and 2nd.   Some of the topics covered include: 1) Executive update on the field of national security; 2) Congressional update on the field of national security; 3) international lawyering for the government in the age of smart power; 4) war powers and humanitarian intervention; 5) military commissions; 6) use of force decisions by the International Court of Justice; 7) the Uniform Code of Military Justice; and 8) ethical dilemmas facing lawyers in the field of National Security.
